Information you provide

When you enter your birth date, WonderSince uses it to calculate lifetime comparisons such as days lived, historical events experienced and other lifetime statistics.

WonderSince does not intentionally send your full birth date to Google Analytics. The analytics event generated when results are calculated uses only a broad birth decade, such as the 1990s, along with aggregate information about the generated results.

Shared results

When you choose to share an individual WonderSince result, the shared URL contains the comparison identifier and the calculated result. Your birth date itself is not included in the shared URL.

Some results may indirectly reveal information about your approximate age. For example, a planetary-age result could be converted back into an approximate Earth age. You should therefore share a result only when you are comfortable making that result public.

Analytics

WonderSince uses Google Analytics to understand how the website is used and to help improve the experience.

Analytics information may include usage and session statistics, approximate geographic information, and browser or device information. WonderSince also records privacy-conscious interaction events such as whether lifetime results were calculated, which comparison details were opened, and which sharing method was used.

WonderSince does not intentionally send full birth dates or calculated lifetime result values as parameters in these custom analytics events.

Google Analytics is provided by Google and is also subject to Google's own privacy terms and data-processing practices.

Cookies and similar technologies

Google Analytics and other technical services used to operate WonderSince may use cookies or similar technologies for analytics, functionality, security or service operation.

WonderSince may update its consent and cookie controls as the service develops or where required by applicable law.

Facebook, X and other sharing services

WonderSince can open third-party sharing services such as Facebook, X or your device's native sharing interface. If you choose one of these options, your interaction with that service is governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policy.

WonderSince does not use Facebook Login and does not request access to your Facebook profile, friends, posts or other Facebook account information through the result sharing feature.

Hosting and technical information

Like most websites, the infrastructure used to deliver WonderSince may process technical information associated with web requests, such as IP addresses, browser information, request details and timestamps. This information may be used for operation, security, diagnostics and abuse prevention.

Data retention

Information processed by WonderSince or its service providers is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant operational, analytical, security or legal purpose, subject to the retention practices of the applicable service provider.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights relating to personal information, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection to certain processing.

Children's privacy

WonderSince is a general-audience service and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children through account registration or similar functionality.
